Tyrol

Tyrol is a small federal state of Austria in the western part of the country and located in the heart of the Alps, offering unique experiences at the highest level, both during winter- and summertime. The area can easily be reached via Innsbruck International airport, but also from Zürich and Munich.

Innsbruck, also called “Capital of the Alps” is a small city showing a very special flair in its old town with its landmark “Goldenes Dachl” (Golden Roof) and combines the unique mountain scenery and cozy spots at one of the inns in the city. Cable cars go directly from the city center up to the alpine range Nordkette that characterizes the image of Innsbruck. After only 20 minutes, one can enjoy mountain life and a great view over the city of Innsbruck.

Tyrol is world famous for its winter sports facilities. About 80 ski resorts offer everything beginners and advanced skiers could wish. Skiable terrain of around 3,000 kilometers, with some of the most epic trails and thrilling rides, family ski resorts, cross-country skiing, snowboard runs, fun parks. Many ski resorts offer also various alternative fun sports that enrich the already extensive range of possibilities. Tirol’s five glacier ski resorts open early in the season and remain open as late as possible to give guests an almost all-the-year skiing experience.

Kitzbühel with its Hahnenkamm slope is probably one of he most famous ski resorts in Tyrol and said to be the place where alpine skiing was invented. National and international celebrities gather there in winter to enjoy the slopes and of course the après ski and nightlife. Kitzbühel lies only about 165 km from Munich and has therefore easy access to a huge international airport. In summer, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, paragliding, ballooning – Kitzbühel “The Legend” offers an exciting outdoor program for sports enthusiasts during every season of the year. The convention center KitzKongress can accommodate events for up to 1000 people for groups interested in meetings.

Alpbach is a small Tyrolean village that has developed an overall concept for large groups together with the resident hotels, inns and guesthouses: rent an entire village in the Alps and spend the days in a village instead of a hotel. Besides the good meeting facilities in the congress center for up to 500 persons, Alpbach is the perfect combination of meeting and ski incentives for large groups with a Tyrolean touch. Alpine skiing, winter sports, sledge rides, traditional Tyrolian evenings, local music and shows.

The Tyrolean ski regions include well known names such as St. Anton am Arlberg, Ischgl, the region Wilder Kaiser with Ellmau, Scheffau, Going, the glacier ski areas Ötztal and Zillertal. These fantastic ski regions, among the best ski resorts in the world, are also becoming increasingly important as summer or autumn destinations. Meetings in September surrounded by snowy mountain peaks, hiking through meadows and pastures, relaxing in the spas of well-equipped hotels.
