Vienna: Classic Program

Imperial splendor and traditional coffee house culture

Vienna is a melange of magnificent architecture, music and endearing charm. The Austrian capital is known for its castles, imposing baroque buildings, the gothic St. Stephen’s Cathedral and its elegant coffee houses. Once a celebrated art noveau metropolis, art is still present everywhere.

Situated close to the borders to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, Vienna was the door to the European East during the cold war and is nowadays the very center of modern Europe.

Vienna is a city of contrasts – traditional sights next to modern landmarks, traditional hotels and palaces for cocktail receptions or gala evenings next to modern architecture and modern design locations. A charming city full of new development in a historic ambience.

In the direct surroundings of Vienna or in the lovely Wachau area, vineyards invite to a visit and a tasting of Austria’s extraordinary good wines.
