Capital of beer combines Bavarian tradition with modernity
Munich – the capital city of Bavaria – is located close to the Bavarian Alps on the banks of the River Isar. The former capital of the Bavarian Kingdom is full of sights and monuments that show its proud history.
Munich is a city of contrasts – the atmosphere of a large city is combined with rural charm: alpine tradition and Mediterranean radiance, art treasures and Oktoberfest, local customs and high-tech innovation, beer gardens and opera. This exciting coexistence of seemingly opposing worlds is one of the main features of this city at the edge of the Alps.
The famous and worldwide probably best known event in Munich is the annual Oktoberfest, which manifests the German beer brewing tradition and is the largest fun fair in the world.
BMW cars are a symbol of luxury and quality all over the world, something that is quite reflective of its home city.
Sport enthusiasts, especially those with an affinity for soccer, will most definitely have a sensational time in Munich, since it is home to the FC Bayern Munich, one of Europe’s best soccer teams. The historic Olympic grounds are also a landmark of Munich.
The surrounding of Munich offers great alpine scenery with lakes and mountains, romantic castles, such as Neuschwanstein, and traditional Bavarian villages, like Oberammergau.

City Tour
Munich is a beautiful city and has a lot of sights to offer. And of course, a sightseeing tour with an experienced guide is not to be missed here. In the capital of Bavaria, modern ambitions meet rustic charm: between high-tech and adrenaline-packed places such as the Olympic Park, the Allianz Arena or BMW and rustic culture at places like the Hofbräuhaus or the typical beer gardens. On this tour the group will see most popular modern and historical sights like Nymphenburg Palace with its beautiful gardens, the Frauenkirche and of course the city hall with its famous Glockenspiel
Brenner Grill
The restaurant is located in a listed columned hall and the unique three-part division of the impressive room creates an extraordinary dynamic. While the grill area is characterised by the open fireplace in the middle of the room, high-quality pasta is made fresh and by hand in the second area. The bar area entices with a cosy lounge character. From a culinary point of view, a health-conscious cuisine is pursued at the highest level with a harmonious combination of Italy and southern Germany.
