Vienna: Incentive Program

Imperial splendor and traditional coffee house culture

Vienna is a melange of magnificent architecture, music and endearing charm. The Austrian capital is known for its castles, imposing baroque buildings, the gothic St. Stephen’s Cathedral and its elegant coffee houses. Once a celebrated art noveau metropolis, art is still present everywhere.

Situated close to the borders to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, Vienna was the door to the European East during the cold war and is nowadays the very center of modern Europe.

Vienna is a city of contrasts – traditional sights next to modern landmarks, traditional hotels and palaces for cocktail receptions or gala evenings next to modern architecture and modern design locations. A charming city full of new development in a historic ambience.

In the direct surroundings of Vienna or in the lovely Wachau area, vineyards invite to a visit and a tasting of Austria’s extraordinary good wines.

Highlights

Hotel suggestions

25 hours Museumsquartier

The hotel’s design is inspired by the heyday of the circus. The play with dreams and illusions lives here in the creative 7th district of the Museumsquartier. Each room is uniquely decorated with a combination of classic and vintage furniture and circus elements. The meeting rooms, on the other hand, are kept in restrained colours and provide the ideal setting for creative thoughts and discussions. An authentic Italian atmosphere can be enjoyed in the restaurant. The crowning glory: The attic bar with a spectacular view over Vienna.

Grand Ferdinand

The hotel is the newest Grand Hotel on Vienna’s magnificent Ringstraße boulevard. An Austrian hotelier family presents with the hotel the Viennese elegance with modern and unique design elements. Culinary delights are offered by three restaurants with excellent Austrian cuisine; one is located together with the pool and bar on the exclusive Grande Etage on the eights floor and offers a wonderful view of the city. A green oasis in the inner courtyard, which invites you to relax, and a fitness area round off the Viennese hotel experience.

SO Vienna

With its playful and deliberately rebellious interpretation of luxury, the hotel sees itself as a dazzling addition to the local hotel scene. Thus, avant-garde design, a sense for current trends and trendy beats are part of the lifestyle hotel’s credo. The rooms are classy and monochromatic and all offer a view of Vienna’s city centre. The elegant meeting rooms and banquet halls with natural light are located on the fourth floor and also surprise with a great view. On the culinary front, the award-winning Loft Restaurant and Bar above the rooftops of Vienna spoils its guests with innovative dishes and the finest local ingredients. A fitness centre and spa round off the services offered by this exciting hotel.

Wine region Carnuntum
Starting the Austrian experience by tasting one of it’s culinary cornerstones – the fine winery of the region Carnuntum right between the airport and Vienna. Already used by the Romans, the region has a long history in wine growing. Due to the ideal climate and soil conditions, the red wines of Carnuntum are also called red wine jewel. However, the white wines are not to be neglected, as they develop fresh and elegant fruitiness. The group is immersed in the country’s viticultural tradition with a glass of “Winzersekt”, a sparkling wine. Afterwards the idyllic village Göttlesbrunn welcomes the participants with a delicious lunch. Ending with a special kind of wine tasting the group will continue the way to Vienna.
